Four months (probably starts at like 3 1/2) is a TOTAL turning point. That is what I was told and now I will say it. He is out of his colicky/cranky at night phase. There are no more major meltdowns for no reason. The best part is how fun he is getting, he loves jumping, he is ticklish and smiles at EVERYONE, and laughs all the time. You can tell he wants to play and just be with us. I am in the process of breaking him of falling asleep to nursing, which has NOT been fun, but within just a couple days he falls asleep on his own with little fuss.
